Well, I haven’t written since the World Race, so I’m a bit rusty. Bear with me.
WHAT I’VE BEEN DOING: Even before going on the race I knew that God was molding me for a life overseas. What I did not know was that he was also preparing me a partner to step into a new chapter in God’s story. He would also bring me home to an anything but restful.
Since getting home from the race over a year ago, I’ve been working for a pressure washing company, leading 12th grade small group, coaching three soccer teams, and I got married. Well, that chapter is now coming to an end (except the married part because you know, she’s my wife).
THE NEXT JOURNEY: Want to know what is next in for me and my wife Jenna? Of course you do, that’s why you’re reading this. Well, Jenna and I are going to do the Mission track at the Adventures in Missions office in Gainesville, Georgia. We will be learning more about long term missions. It is a three month program and it starts January 29th. We graduate May 6th from the training.
WHAT FOLLOWS: After our time in Gainesville, we will be preparing for a life overseas. Right now we are not certain as to where in the world we’ll be going to, but we are in constant prayer. Our plan is to be overseas by next fall (October- November 2016)
IN A NUTSHELL: I started a new chapter with my wife Jenna in October. We are going to long term mission training at the end of January. We want to be better prepared for the life overseas that God has been preparing for us since before time. After we graduate, we will spend time between our families visiting and fundraising. We hope to be overseas before 2016 ends.
DEADLINES: We start CGA (training) January 29th. We MUST have $4,000 by the time we start. We will then have other deadlines when we get there for when the rest is due.
YOUR PART: If you are interested in financially contributing, please find the support link on the left side of the page. If you would like to be a prayer warrior for us, we would love all the prayers we could get. If you simply want more information, please comment or subscribe for more to come. If you simply like reading blogs, thank you for taking the time to read this.
THERE IS MORE TO COME!
THANK YOU!
